Arjit Taneja is an Indian television actor and model known for his work in Hindi serials. He was born on 10 November 1992 in Delhi, India. He completed his early education from Modern School, Delhi, and then graduated from Delhi University with a BA degree in Computer Programming.
Taneja started working as a model in November 2010 with the modeling agency Elite Model Management India Pvt Ltd. After 2 years in 2012, he moved from Delhi to Mumbai where he started his acting career on television. He made his debut as Karan Kundrra’s friend in the Channel V India show V The Serial which was produced by Ekta Kapoor.
The next year in 2013, he appeared as a contestant in MTV India’s show MTV Splitsvilla 6. Later he also participated in the Sony TV show Box Cricket League. Arjit made his acting debut by playing a cameo role in the Sony TV show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain produced by Ekta Kapoor.
The turning point in Taneja’s career came in TV when he was offered the lead role of Purab Khanna in Zee TV’s show Kumkum Bhagya. The serial was produced by Ekta Kapoor, in which Taneja was awarded the Best Supporting Actor award at the Zee Gold Awards for his role.
