Namita Thapar is an Indian Businessman and Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited who is in the news for her participation in the Sony TV show Shark Tank India as a Shark. Namita was born on 21 March 1977 in Pune, Maharashtra. She was a very studious girl from the beginning. She used to concentrate on her studies keeping extracurricular activities aside at her school.
After receiving her early studies from a private school in Pune, she joined Savitribai Phule Pune University, from where she obtained a B.Com degree. After graduation, Namita studied Chartered Accountants (CA) at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. After a lot of hard work, she became a Chartered Accountant (CA).
