Ishaan Khatter is an Indian actor who is known for his role in Madhukar Bagla in the Bollywood movie Dhadak and also being the half-brother of Bollywood star actor Shahid Kapoor. Ishaan was born on 1 November 1995 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Khattar received his education from Jamnabai Narsee School and Billabong High International School, Juhu.
Coming from a cinema family, he debuted as a child artist in Shahid Kapoor’s film Vaah Life Ho Toh Aisi, released in 2005. Khatter started his journey in 2017 by playing the lead role of a drug dealer Aamir in the film Beyond the Clouds directed by Majid Majidi. Khatter won the Best Actor Award at the 5th International Bosphorus Film Festival and the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his role in this film.
Before this, he worked as an assistant director to Abhishek Chaubey in the film Udta Punjab in 2016. Ishaan made his Bollywood debut in 2018 with Janhvi Kapoor in Shashank Khaitan’s romantic drama movie Dhadak.
