Shanaya Katwe a famous Kannada model and actress was born on 26 December 2000 (Tuesday) in Hubli, Karnataka, India. She was raised by her mother as a single parent. She did her Schooling at St. Michaels High School, Hubli, Karnataka. After completing her intermediate studies, Shanaya took admission to a college in Bangalore to pursue a graduate degree.
Her father died when she was in childhood. After the death of her father, her mother took care of him. Her mother’s dream was to make her daughter a successful model since childhood. Keeping in mind the mother’s dream, Shanaya joined Kallia International Modeling Agency, Bangalore during her college studies. In 2016, she started her modeling career with IM Model while training in modeling from this agency.
Shanaya got her first film for the lead role in the Kannada film Idam Premam Jeevanam with the help of this modeling agency. Director Raghavanka Prabhu was impressed with her modeling and selected her for the film. She also got the opportunity to ramp walk in various fashion shows during her modeling at IM Model. Apart from this, she got the opportunity to participate in the Miss India Elegant Competition Show through this agency.
