Genelia Deshmukh is an Indian film actress and model known for working in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu language films. D’Souza was born on 5 August 1987 in Mumbai, India. She completed her early education at Apostolic Carmel High School, Bandra, Mumbai. Genelia did her first modeling assignment at the age of 15. At that time she was spotted by an agency at a friend’s wedding.
As a result, she was selected for the Parker Pen advertisement with Amitabh Bachchan just 2 days before the exam.
