Mouni Roy is an Indian model, Kathak dancer, singer, television, and film actress known for her work predominantly in Hindi films and the television industry. Mouni Roy was born on 28 September 1985 in a filmy background family in Cooch Behar, West Bengal.
His grandfather and mother have been well-known theater artists in West Bengal, due to which she has also been inclined towards acting from the beginning. She moved to Delhi after completing her 12th education at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Baburhat, West Bengal.
There she obtained her graduation degree from Miranda University, recognized by Delhi University. After this, she enrolled in the Mass Communication course at Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi.
She started learning choreography during her college studies and after passing her first year of college, she decided to move to Mumbai to try her luck in Bollywood.
