Bidipta Chakraborty is an Indian singer who is currently in the limelight for participating in the Sony TV singing reality show Indian Idol 13 as a contestant. She is only 18 years old in 2023 and has just completed her 12th from Sushil Krishna Sikshayatan High School, Sodepur. Bidipta is heavily inspired by her elder sister Bidisha Chakraborty. Following in the footsteps of her elder sister, she chose the path of singing.
She has been interested in singing since childhood. Along with her studies, she also took education in singing and in 2017 participated in the Bangla singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla for the first time as a contestant where she was the second runner-up.
